Important: webhomeprintingshop.store is an independent reseller of refurbished and pre-owned printers. Product condition, warranty and returns described here apply to items sold on our site and may be superseded by item-specific terms on each product page.

Overview

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This page explains how to request a return, how refunds are processed, and how warranty claims are handled. Please read the sections below carefully — each product page also lists specific warranty lengths and return exceptions if they differ from the general policy below.

Return windows & basic rules

  • Change-of-mind returns: You may request a return within 14 days of delivery for unused items in their original packaging (if the product was advertised as packed with original accessories). Items must be returned in the same condition as delivered.
  • Defective or DOA items: For items that arrive defective or DOA (dead on arrival), contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can prioritise your case.
  • Warranty claims: Many refurbished items are covered by a limited hardware warranty (example: 1–6 months). Warranty duration is shown on each product page and supersedes the generic timelines below when specified.
  • Return authorization required: All returns require a Return Authorization (RMA) number from our support team. Do not ship items back without an RMA — unapproved returns may be refused.

How to request a return or warranty service

  1. Contact us: Email info@webhomeprintingshop.store or use the Contact page with your order number, product SKU, purchase date, and a brief description of the issue.
  2. Provide evidence: For damaged or defective items, include photos or short video clearly showing the issue (packaging damage, error screens, physical defects, etc.).
  3. Receive RMA: We will review and issue an RMA number along with return shipping instructions and the address to send the item.
  4. Ship the item: Pack the item carefully (include all included accessories) and ship using a trackable service. We recommend keeping shipment tracking until the claim is resolved.

Refunds & processing time

After we receive and inspect the returned item we will:

  • Approve the return or warranty request, and issue a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the case.
  • Process refunds to the original payment method within 7–14 business days after we accept the return. The exact time until the refund appears in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
  • If a partial refund is required (e.g., missing accessories, excessive damage), we will provide a clear explanation and the net refund amount.

Who pays for return shipping?

  • Change-of-mind returns: Unless stated otherwise in a product’s listing, the buyer is responsible for return shipping cost for change-of-mind returns.
  • Defective / Warranty returns: If the return is due to a verified defect or DOA, we will cover the return shipping costs or provide a prepaid shipping label where applicable.

Exceptions & non-returnable items

Certain items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. Examples (edit for your store):

  • Consumables such as opened ink cartridges, toner cartridges, consumable rolls or refilled supplies.
  • Items returned more than the stated return window.
  • Products missing essential accessories that were included at sale (power cables, trays, manuals) unless previously agreed.
  • Items with new, substantial physical damage from misuse or mishandling after delivery.

Repair, replacement, or refund

For valid warranty claims we will generally offer one of the following (at our discretion):

  • Repair of the defective component where practicable.
  • Replacement with an item of similar condition and functionality (if available).
  • Refund of the purchase price (minus any applicable restocking fee or deduction for missing parts) if repair or replacement is not possible.

Restocking & deductions

In some circumstances (e.g., returns not in original condition or missing accessories) we may apply a reasonable restocking or refurbishment deduction. We will always notify you of any deduction and provide an explanation prior to issuing a partial refund.

International returns & customs

For international orders, customs fees, duties, and taxes paid on import are generally non-refundable by us. If you return an international order, duties and import taxes will be handled per the shipping instructions provided with your RMA; additional customs clearance delays may apply.

Fraud & abuse prevention

We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds if we suspect fraud, multiple abuse of the returns process, or inconsistent information. We may request proof of purchase and identity in such cases.
